Lower Primary (5 to 8 Years / School Years Reception to 3)
Do you like dressing up as a robot, a pirate or perhaps an underwater sea creature, doing little plays and having a fun time with new friends? Well, you've come to the right place! Our lessons do all that and more!
Each week, we'll be doing lots of drama so you can learn to be more confident, have a big voice and be any person you want!
So if you fancy dressing up and learning how to act each week, come and show us your imagination in action! You even get to be in a play for mums and dads at the end of the year.
Upper Primary (9 to 11 Years / School Years 4 to 6)
Very soon, you could be taking a trip to the moon, making up your own plays, using props or practising a mini-script with one of your new friends at class!
Each week, we'll do a little bit of speech work to help you speak clearly, exploring body movement and loads of creative drama! All our classes are good fun and we'll help you to get over any shyness you might have by joining in all the fun at class each week.
It doesn't matter if you haven't done any drama before because we have all sorts of children, all shapes and sizes, all sorts of backgrounds coming to our classes so you're bound to fit in! The class teacher will introduce you to someone who's been coming for a while anyway, so you won't be on your own from the very first lesson!
At the end of every year, just before the summer break, we work on an end of year production which is really exciting as we perform it to an audience.
Youth Theatre (12 to 16 Years / School Years 7 to 11)
Do you want to learn more about the theatre? Make new friends? Get rid of that shyness that stops you volunteering for something at school and have fun each week?
Our fantastic theatre arts classes do all that and more. You might be working in a small group on your very own radio play, rehearsing a script by a well-known playwright or learning how to deliver a line with expression.
We don't judge your talent - we just explore it so you don't need an audition. If you come on your own, we'll introduce you to someone as soon as you come in the door so no worries there!
This is a great opportunity to practice your skills ready for GCSEs and prepare in advance for a career in the theatre.
New Kindy Drama (3 to 4 years / Pre-School)
Our Kindy Drama programme, for 3-5 year olds, aims to give pre-schoolers confidence & self esteem as well as skill in verbal communication.
This is achieved through storytelling, dramatic play, speech training, creative movement, songs and lots of language development activities.
Classes help to develop important life skills for preschoolers, such as listening, sharing, taking turns, following instructions, sequencing & memory skills and vocalising thoughts & emotions.
This is all done in a fun, stimulating way to ensure that all children are getting the most out of their lesson!
